Our client is seeking a talented UX Engineer with a strong front-end development background and a passion for crafting intuitive user experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on coding environment and enjoys solving complex UI challenges.

This is short term daily rate contract with opportunity to extend. Hybrid work arrangments, based in Melbourne.

The ideal candidate will come from a Developer or Engineer background, with proven experience in UX/UI Design and front-end technologies such as React or Angular. They'll be comfortable diving into existing codebases, understanding architecture, and making impactful UI/UX improvements from within the code.

This role is perfect for someone who:

• Has a solid foundation in front-end development and is confident working with modern frameworks.
• Brings a user-centric mindset to engineering, with a keen eye for design and usability.
• Can navigate and troubleshoot code independently, identifying opportunities to enhance the user interface and experience.
• Enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring design concepts to life.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in React, Angular, or similar front-end frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design principles and implementation.
• Ability to work autonomously within code to identify and resolve UI/UX issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
