Overview:

Our private client is one of the world's leading providers of CRM and correspondence management tools and they are looking for a Web Application Developer - Full Stack (PHP / MYSQL/ React) to join their team on a Permanent Basis.

As a developer, you'll be actively engaged in scoping of new features, identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving bugs. You'll work to understand the problems users face and build features that add real value to their daily lives, with a focus on performance and security.

This role is an opportunity to join a growing and globally-distributed development team. You'll be working on both building new features for our existing SaaS product for both our Australian and overseas clients, as well as working on internal tools and projects and the development of a new product based on our existing core technologies.

Some of the responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Liaise with other developers and help scope out new features and bug fixes
  • Help identify and resolve bottlenecks
  • Participate in new feature development, both frontend and backend
  • Contribute to the development our internal tools, components and frameworks
  • Refactoring and optimising existing code and implementing a component based approach to legacy features.
  • Resolving second line support issues with the application or client data
  • Supporting product owners and support staff in delivering client success

The Required Skills / Technologies for the role includes:

  • Javascript ES6, with focus on React.js
  • PHP, both procedural and OOP
  • MySQL
  • Webpack
  • Yarn/ NPM
  • Git and Git Flow methodology
  • CSS/SCSS
  • Knowledge on how to debug and profile code
