About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Test Manager to lead and oversee testing practices within a high-profile ICT capability development project. This role is responsible for managing the deployment of testing resources, developing verification plans, and ensuring solutions meet non-functional requirements in a complex and secure ICT environment.
You will be part of a specialist Technical Data Team (TDT) that provides technical expertise to deliver project solutions, working alongside APS, ADF, and contractor personnel. The team is currently focused on designing, building, testing, and operating ICT systems, including a gateway capability for integrating Defence ISR-related projects with strategic networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop plans and procedures for the verification of ICT infrastructure solutions (both physical and virtual).
- Execute and manage testing processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Track and oversee testing of non-functional requirements, including load, performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Develop reports and acceptance documentation.
- Perform other tasks as required by the technical team.
Key Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Proven ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, ASD's Information Security Manual, and the Essential Eight.
Other Requirements:
- The role is Canberra-based, requiring full-time onsite work (5 days per week, up to 40 hours per week unless otherwise agreed).
Security Clearance & Assessment Information
Once successful, an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) will be conducted as part of their onboarding. This role will require you to obtain a TSPV security-clearance but our client is only seeking NV1 cleared personnel to begin the role. TSPV is requires as you will be collaboration with key stakeholders and access necessary systems for project deliverables.
