Senior Technical Business Analysts - Cyber Security Projects (EL1 Equivalent)

Are you a seasoned Technical Business Analyst with a passion for cyber security and a knack for solving complex problems? We're seeking five EL1-equivalent Senior Technical Business Analysts to support the delivery of high-impact cyber security initiatives across Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, and Zero Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate technical and business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and support solution design.
  • Analyse and improve existing cyber security processes.
  • Assist project teams in delivering outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Manage sensitive information and respond to competing priorities.
  • Support testing and deployment activities to ensure effective solution delivery.
  • Represent and negotiate on behalf of the agency across various forums.

About You:

You're a confident communicator and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You bring a strong understanding of cyber security principles and a track record of delivering results in government settings.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst in cyber security.
  • Experience working within Australian Government organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within teams.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust principles.

Additional Information:

  • Maximum hours: 37.5 per week
  • Labour Hire Licence: Required for ACT, VIC, and QLD
