Roles: EL1 Technical Business Analysts


As a Technical Business Analyst, you will support the delivery of cyber security projects across various areas including Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, and Zero Trust.
You will leverage strong relationship-building skills and business acumen to support your team in delivering impactful outcomes for the Agency. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will tackle complex problems and manage critical issues.
In this role, you are responsible for managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and, when required, representing and negotiating on behalf of the Agency to advance its interests across a range of forums
Locations: Brisbane, QLD; Surry Hills, NSW


Citizenship:
As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, the agency seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check.







Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate technical and business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives for cyber security projects.
  • Translating business needs into functional specifications and work with technical teams to design, assess, and refine solutions that meet those needs.
  • Analysing existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements across cyber security processes.
  • Assisting the project manager and team to translate requirements into project deliverables and tasks.
  • Responding to, and prioritising, competing and often urgent requests.
  • Managing confidential and sensitive information.
  • Assisting in developing test plans, conducting UAT, and supporting deployment activities to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and meet business requirements.
