📍 Location: ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA (Hybrid Work Arrangement)
🕒 Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
🔐 Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance

We are seeking two highly experienced EL2 Solution Architects for a senior-level opportunity within a Federal Government agency undergoing significant digital transformation. This role offers strategic influence, high autonomy, and the chance to work across cutting-edge cloud and enterprise technologies in support of national initiatives that improve services for people with disability.

Key Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect, you will:

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud and integration solutions across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, MuleSoft, Salesforce, and Azure-to-AWS environments.
  • Ensure architectural solutions align with enterprise frameworks, security protocols, and strategic ICT objectives.
  • Engage extensively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement forward-thinking technical solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation, DevOps, IAM, and cloud governance.
  • Produce high-quality architectural blueprints, design documents, and implementation guidelines.
  • Actively support technical issue resolution and manage architectural risks and dependencies.

Tech Focus Areas

  • Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Design secure, scalable solutions using Azure best practices.
  • Microsoft Fabric: Deploy and govern advanced data analytics platforms.
  • Azure-to-AWS Integration: Deliver seamless and secure multi-cloud architectures.
  • MuleSoft Integration: Implement API-led strategies using Anypoint Platform.
  • Salesforce Integration: Integrate enterprise systems and applications securely and in real time.
  • Data Analytics: Architect high-performance data solutions for insights-driven decision-making.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Solution Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep), Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large integration or CRM projects (Salesforce, MuleSoft, or Azure).
  • Expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and data integration strategies.
  • Understanding of Azure-to-AWS networking, IAM, and data governance.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.
  • Experience in the health, insurance, or public sectors.
  • TOGAF or equivalent architectural certification; Azure or AWS certifications.
  • Previous experience as an Enterprise Architect or Program Architect in Agile and traditional delivery environments.
