About the Role
You will be a part of the A-team, building the platform for our Suppliers and Buyers, as well as the core system and integrated components. We use agile methodology for our development process, where we constantly launch and learn. You will work on a wide range of features, such as ordering, search, marketing, administration, logistics, payment, etc. which are vital in providing our users with the best experience, streamlining internal processes, increasing sales, and improving our operations efficiency.
Required Skills
We are in the process of building functionality and improvements in our platform through more sophisticated search, seamless payment experience, and API integrations using modern technologies. You must have several years of experience working as a Software Engineer / Developer and be familiar with the following development stack
Mandatory

• PHP, Laravel 6+
• MySQL
• APIs / RESTful Web Services
• Docker
• Linux
• Git / Composer

Nice to have:
Laravel Livewire, TailwindCSS, JavaScript, Alpine.js Elasticsearch, CI/CD / Testing, Nginx, Redis Experience with AWS

Education:
Bachelor's degree in software or a related field viewed favourably - although the right experience is most important and we're open-minded.

We'd like to see you've done this type of software development before. Also, not at a giant company but rather at a small-medium one where you owned all the pieces.
About the Team:
You will be working with a small product team of very talented software engineers and a fantastic Product Manager. Although you need to be extremely independent for this role, you will be supported by our highly collaborative team. Our team is comprised of a founder and developer of Menulog and engineers who used to work at Atlassian, Harvey Norman, etc. One thing we can guarantee is that you will learn a lot working with us.

cafes, restaurants, hotels, speciality stores, suppliers, our customer service team and management and their ability to achieve their goals in the fewest steps possible with the most intuitive user interface. The software we build needs to be very sleek and simple to understand on face value and very sophisticated behind the scenes.

About the Company:
We're Australia's #1 online platform for restaurants and cafes to order all of their food from food suppliers. Plain and simple we're a B2B website that allows cafes, restaurants, hotels and other food-service businesses to order with local wholesale Suppliers. Restaurants need to order meat, fruit, veg, dairy and more - but the way they order is literally still via phone or text. We're an industry disrupter widely talked about in the media and are now seeking a new addition to the team to keep up with our growth.
