ManpowerGroup is actively engaged with a State Government department that is now looking for a dedicated Senior project officer to join their team. This person will manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of diverse complex projects to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of projects
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management
  • Provide sound advice and recommendations to project teams and other stakeholders on innovative, best practice project methodologies
  • Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures
  • Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence-based project planning and decision making


About you

  • Previous experience as a Senior project officer within the public sector
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience within the education sector is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and to work on collaborative projects
