Senior Digital Producer

My client is an award winning experience design agency looking for experienced Senior Digital Producers or Executive Producers!

Your Role

As a Senior Digital Producer, you will acutely understand the opportunities and constraints of a given project. Taking responsibility for setting and managing expectations internally and with Partners, you will deliver on time, within budget and against agreed objectives. Senior Digital Producers have full lifecycle experience from scoping through delivery and can confidently navigate and prioritise business needs, resource management, schedules and financials to successfully navigate and deliver all aspects of the assignment

  • Provide overall account leadership, developing executive level relationships and overseeing our junior producer and design and engineering teams
  • Oversee key Partner relationships and manage account growth and Partner satisfaction
  • Prioritise all deliverables and ensure quality of work meets
  • Manage account P&L by negotiating scope of work, ensuring work is delivered on budget and Partners are invoiced correctly
  • Working with 3rd parties, manage highly complex technical deliveries ensuring foresight on delivery issues and creating mitigation plans

What You'll Do

Relationship Growth

  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to deliver robust scope of work documents and price options for all engagements.
  • Understand how project decisions can have a broader impact across an account and can work well with the teams Senior Leadership team to make sure that a project is doing the right thing in the context of an ongoing Partner relationship
  • Consider the end to end experience and find opportunities for the agency to expand our remit on the project
  • Product roadmapping
  • Enlist specialists to collaborate on deliverables beyond our capabilities
  • Beyond launch optimisations and results tracking
  • Constant, clear communication with our Partners with a focus on managing expectations on schedules, deliveries and budgets, never compromising on quality and always being inclusive.

Process Champion

  • Help people synthesis individual elements of a project together to make a better whole, with a focus on more complex technical projects
  • Collaborate with the wider team to constantly refine the agencies process quarterly
  • Enlist the help of at least 2-3 team members for design, copy and development feedback implementation quality assurance prior to sending anything to our Partners.
  • Short to medium term forward planning and resource management. Explore new tools to facilitate this daily task as the studio grows in size, keeping in mind speed and ease of use.
  • Bring a firm sense of urgency to the studio with a view to deliver as promised to Partners.

Project Management

  • Scope definition and scope creep management, working to a value-based model
  • Understand how to identify and manage risks within a project, working with the Head of Ops to perform pre-mortems where viable and leverage other 'plays' accordingly.
  • Manage complex builds with a high level of autonomy, from inception to delivery.
  • Constantly explore new platforms and tools that best deliver to our Partners a view of project and beyond timings and roadmapped features.

Financial Accountability

  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement and evolution of our value based pricing model
  • Support the team with confidence and to make sure that there is balance between the competing demands of all involved parties, both studio and Partner - with a focus for allowing as much time as possible (even at our cost) for creative exploration.
  • Report to Senior Leadership weekly on job profit performance, targeting agreed minimum margins per job.

General Management

  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the office (calendaring, hospitality, logistics, supplies, studio environment), in a hands-on manner. Corral other team members to help daily.
  • Ensure our social accounts are being attended to by all relevant team members, ensure appropriate time is allocated to make them world-class.

Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills - both internally and externally
  • Smart, proactive leadership, consistently displays initiative
  • Has experience managing multiple producers and interdisciplinary project teams as large as 15 people
  • Has a successful track record of managing projects from small to enterprise level
  • Is an expert presenter and comfortable interacting with senior level clients
  • Isn't daunted by the task of leading large projects and taking responsibility for their success
  • Manages project fatigue, particularly for enduring engagements, keeps the team on track and inspired daily
  • Solutions-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias towards action Required

Experience

  • 8+ years of agency experience delivering web, mobile, and/or gaming platform projects
  • Track record of shipping on time
  • Experience with large budget projects
  • Expert risk management
  • Expertise in delivering pitches and proposals
  • Experience adapting project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Lean, Kanban) to the needs of a given engagement/Partner
  • Experience working with common project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Confluence, Slack, etc.
  • Excellent working knowledge of design processes, methodologies and principles
  • Can do attitude with a smile - because no problem is too big to solve
