This large Federal Government agency requires a Senior developer to support the team in the developing and enhancing applications. Working in a Full Stack capacity your responsibilities will include:

  • Coding of a national IT solution
  • Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality both independently and in code reviews
  • Collaborating within the project team with UX designers, visual designers and other developers
  • Implementing design plans
  • Providing expert knowledge in all aspects of the development and deployment of large scale and high availability solutions
  • Participating in Agile project methodology practices including daily stand ups
  • Undertaking Quality Assurance Review and Testing
  • Providing technical instructions and documentation


The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate experience in / knowledge of:

  • Angular 8+ in the last 3 years
  • Large scale and / or High Availability implementation builds
  • High load / Mission critical solutions
  • Load balancing
  • Building secure production solutions, SOAP WS, Building REST API
  • Entity Framework
  • Building of Unit Tests and UI
  • SQL Server
  • .net C# (VS2019)
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation such as Use Cases, Logical and Technical Specifications
  • 5+ years' experience as a Senior Developer in Information Technology, primarily in systems development and maintenance, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce artefacts best suited to the project.
  • Proven ability to make appropriate decisions within the boundaries of this roles delegated authority.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and the business teams.
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Projects, MS Teams
  • Understanding of HL7 FHIR (Optional - but will learn during development)
  • Understanding of OAUTH (Preferred)
  • Competent understanding of healthcare ecosystem is desirable.
