As an EL1 Technical Business Analyst, you will contribute to the success of large-scale ICT projects by translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. You will be part of a supportive and high-performing team delivering strategic change through new tools, platforms, and systems to support a growing and critical national service.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with program, business, and technical stakeholders to define, validate, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
Conduct stakeholder analysis and business process modelling to support end-to-end solution development.
Draft and maintain business analysis artefacts including scope models, risk analysis, data discovery reports, and process diagrams.
Identify and manage requirement dependencies and priorities, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and strategic goals.
Support quality assurance through peer reviews and project documentation assessments.
Assist project teams in translating requirements into actionable deliverables and support system documentation.
Apply analytical thinking to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Contribute to a positive, outcome-focused culture aligned with the organisation's values.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex ICT environments, ideally within government or enterprise-scale programs.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a dynamic team setting.
Comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information.
