GRC Transformation - Project Change Manager |
Position Purpose: The project team is looking to expand with inclusion of a dedicated Change Manager to support and embed the delivery of the GRC Transformation. The Change Manager will critically work alongside the Project Manager, Business Analyst, Organisation's business subject matter experts (SMEs), and extended stakeholders to define the change journey in the GRC domain and work through design of the future state GRC business functions. This change role will be hands on and will require production of artefacts that will eventually transition to BAU. It is expected that the Change Manager will work within the Organisation's Change Management framework applying this model for the project in addition to supporting project specific change outcomes. A lot of the work will be related to the re-engineering of business processes to suit what is common practice in industry along with the GRC Management Frameworks. Not only will the technical change need to be supported, but there will be changes to the organisation's GRC management frameworks, roles & responsibilities, communication pathways and processes, and focus of organisational effort. The GRC Transformation, by improving the capture and management of data into a unified source, will support a shift from an administrative data collection to analysis and determining trends - looking forward so as to provide insight in reducing risk and operational improvements. |
Key Accountabilities: · Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan tailored to the GRC Transformation and aligned to the Organisation's change management framework. This will include the stakeholder matrix. · Conduct change impact assessments to identify potential risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies. · Through the Initiation phase of the project, assess the potential impact and opportunity of the solution offered by the selected GRC vendor. This will need to cover not only implementation, but also the post implementation operations for both the Organisation and GRC Vendor side. · Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilisation, and proficiency of individual changes related both the GRC Business Management framework and the technical implementation of the GRC solution. · Build strong relationships with the Project Business Analyst, Business SMEs, change champions, and other key stakeholders. · Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and understanding. · Working in partnership with the Project Manager facilitate and implement stakeholder engagement forums and working groups. Along with these, manage the stakeholder communications which will keep the broader Business community informed. · In partnership with the Project Business Analyst and Technical Risk Specialist, lead efforts to facilitate business process re-engineering for the future state. This will require design and documentation of the business processes and will inform technical configuration within the new solution. · Working with the GRC solution vendor and Project Team, develop training programs to support the rollout of the new GRC solution. Where possible, leveraging resources provided by the GRC vendor. · Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure a smooth transition. · While the project is delivering releases, provide ongoing support and guidance to end users post-implementation. This will be transitioned to the BAU team during the project delivery to ensure embed these support methods are maintained post-implementation. · In collaboration with the Project Team and key stakeholders, identify impacts to end users of the changes to the GRC Management framework and corresponding technical solution. This may include impacts to roles and responsibilities, communication and escalation pathways, and management/reporting forums. · Support the Project Manager in the creation and distribution of project communication materials, including newsletters, emails, and ad-hoc presentations. |
