Our client is a boutique consultancy firm based here in the heart of Canberra. Continued success sees them looking to engage a proven Procurement Specialist on contract until EOFY 2021, plus potential extensions.

Working with a reputable Federal Government end-client, you will be leading the design/delivery of an approach to market to implement a PMO. Key duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Scope, design, and conclude a procurement process to put in place a PMO
• Engage with a range of stakeholders to ensure P will deliver against requirements
• Work closely with a P expert to approach the market to set up P function

To be successful for this position, you possess the below experience/skills:

• A thorough, practical and expert understanding of current Commonwealth procurement processes
• Ability to independently draft a suite of procurement documents such as procurement plan, approach to market, risk plan, request for quote, evaluation plan etc
• Ability to achieve multiple project objectives, given limited resources and tight deadlines, and the need to identify project inter-dependencies and balance competing demands and priorities
• Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

Due to the nature of the role, minimum of a Baseline Clearance is essential.
