About the Role:

As the Principal Business Analyst, you will be leading the review and analysis of ICT business intentions, services, processes, and information need to identify changes that lead to business improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop business requirements and scope process/systems change proposals and statements to support the Department's business technologies, systems and tools.
• Develop and document business cases for proposed new and/or enhanced technologies, systems, and tools.
• Contribute technical and thought leadership to assist other IT teams.
• Build and maintain key relationships with users, technical staff, and stakeholders to determine and resolve issues.
• Draft and supervise the preparation of succinct reports for briefings with key stakeholders.
• Contribute to planning processes to ensure timeframes for development, implementation and support take account of user needs and constraints.

To be successful for the role, you must have:

• A strong background in system integration
• Relevant Business Analyst qualifications
• A history of successful end-to-end system integration projects
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• The ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Aboriginal education policies is desirable
• Experience in government roles is a plus
