Job Title: Digital Application Tech Lead - OutSystems

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Digital Application Tech Lead to join a forward-thinking digital applications team focused on designing and developing responsive, user-centric web applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. In this key role, you will provide technical leadership and direction while helping to evolve the organisation's application environment, ensuring that digital solutions align with business needs and architectural best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex applications using the OutSystems platform.

• Deliver proof-of-concept components such as transaction lifecycle management and role-based access control.

• Conduct systems analysis and provide technical input to requirements, UX, and solution design.

• Lead technical specialists in developing, testing, and deploying OutSystems applications.

• Provide hands-on development support including troubleshooting and code reviews.

• Align solutions with architectural designs, standards, and privacy/security policies.

• Create and maintain development guidelines, documentation, and best practices.

• Mentor and support internal technical staff through coaching and knowledge transfer.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying with OutSystems.

• Strong understanding of OutSystems tools including Service Studio and LifeTime.

• Proven leadership in technical project delivery and team management.

• Background in human-centred design principles and their application.

• Familiarity with technical governance frameworks, including code and design standards.

• Experience in Agile, DevOps, and cross-functional environments.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
