Key duties and responsibilities:
- Playing an instrument role in designing and developing complex, responsive web applications on Outsystems.
- Provide detailed design, proof of concept of common components, workflows and functionalities such as role-based access control, transaction lifecycle management etc.
- Provide systems analysis, technical recommendations, and inputs to business requirements, solution and UX designs for OutSystems applications.
- Lead other technical specialists to develop, test and deploy Outsystems applications.
- Provide technical direction and development support, including code reviews, troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving.
- Ensure that the solutions and services delivered are aligned with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.
- Ensure that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to
- Create and maintain technical documentation, development best practices and guidelines.
- Provide advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to support staff as required.
Qualifications and experience:
- 3/4+ years of commercial experience in developing and deploying applications using low-code OutSystems platform.
- Strong understanding of the OutSystems platform and architecture, including Service Studio and LifeTime.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams for project delivery.
- Understanding of human-centered design principles and experience applying them in web development.
- Experience contributing to or establishing technical governance frameworks, including coding standards, design review processes, and branching/marching strategies for low-code applications.
- Experience working in Agile, DevOps and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
- A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or other relevant degree is desirable.
