Lead Integration Architect | EL2 Equivalent (Salesforce, MuleSoft, SharePoint, AWS)
12-Month Contract + 12-Month Extension Option
Hybrid | Multiple Locations Across Australia
NV1 Clearance Required

We are seeking two experienced EL2 Integration Architects to join a large-scale digital transformation program. This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact initiatives within a federal agency focused on meaningful service delivery and systemic reform.

  • Start Date: Monday, 25 August 2025
  • Initial Duration: 12 months
  • Extension: 12 months (possible)
  • Hours: 37.5 per week
  • Locations: ACT, NSW, QLD, WA, TAS, NT (hybrid arrangements available with minimum 3 office days per week)
  • Clearance: NV1 required
  • Citizenship: Australian citizens only

🧩 Role Overview

As an Integration SME, you'll be responsible for leading the design, development, and support of enterprise integrations across key systems like Salesforce, SharePoint, MuleSoft, and AWS. You'll ensure architecture aligns with broader scheme reform efforts, while resolving complex integration challenges and aligning stakeholders.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop integration solutions (Salesforce, SharePoint, REST APIs)
  • Advise on best practice for cyber, API Gateway, PKI, and architecture governance
  • Work collaboratively with business, security, and infrastructure teams
  • Document integration designs and best practices
  • Stay current on integration trends and technologies
  • Lead troubleshooting and monitoring efforts across platforms

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Deep expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including DataWeave, API-led architecture, and lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk), platform events, and object model
  • Experience with AWS and Microsoft services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EventBridge, IAM
  • Proven architecture skills: secure, scalable, fault-tolerant designs
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and environment management
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement capabilities

🔐 Security & Governance

  • Enforce API security (OAuth, JWT, threat protection, rate limiting)
  • Apply data privacy controls when handling sensitive data (e.g. PII)
  • Governance using tools like MuleSoft API Manager and AWS IAM

💬 Desirable

  • Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments
  • Knowledge of other SaaS platforms integrated with Salesforce
  • Certifications: MuleSoft Integration Architect, Salesforce Architect/Developer, AWS Solution Architect
  • Previous experience in large government agency settings
