About the Role

As an EL1 DevOps / Full Stack Engineer, you will operate under broad direction to deliver quality outcomes across enterprise-scale initiatives. You will work autonomously and collaboratively within agile teams, making strategic decisions, solving complex problems, and advising senior stakeholders.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of Cloud & Data Infrastructure

• Prioritise and manage work queues to ensure timely delivery

• Ensure best-practice integration across all technical solutions

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver outcomes aligned with organisational goals

• Play a key leadership role across cross-functional project teams

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to define priorities and deliverables

Key Technologies

You'll work with a modern DevOps and full-stack toolchain including:

• Cloud Platforms: AWS (essential), Azure (desirable)

• IaC & Automation: Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, Jira

• Languages: Python, JavaScript, Golang

• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes

• Version Control: Git

• Database & Secrets Management: PostgreSQL, MySQL, HashiCorp Vault

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Proven AWS cloud engineering experience

• Strong DevOps capability and continuous integration/delivery knowledge

• Advanced IaC skills using Terraform

• Cross-language coding capability (Python, JavaScript, Golang)

• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Agile development environment experience

Desirable:

• Azure infrastructure knowledge

• Database deployment and optimisation (Postgres/MySQL)

• Cloud networking knowledge

• Experience with Vault for secrets management
