Job Description: EL1 Data Integration Manager (Labour Hire)
The EL1 Data Integration Manager (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across various functions. This position requires exercising sound decision-making and judgment to provide high-level policy advice and operational support.
The EL1 Data Integration Manager (Labour Hire) is responsible for coordinating and undertaking detailed or sensitive projects. This includes activities involving different and unrelated processes and methods, which may impact strategic/operational outcomes. The role supports organizational objectives, working to build a world-leading system.
This position requires a deep understanding of the intricacies and relationships between software and infrastructure. The role involves supporting operations, especially during incidents, remaining calm, methodically working through issues with the team, and reporting progress.
The EL1 Data Integration Manager (Labour Hire) will collaborate with testing and engineering teams to define the environment management plan and ensure release planning incorporates environment constraints or considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end ownership of building secure CI/CD processes for various applications (Design, Build, Test, and Support).
- Producing efficient, high-quality code/solutions, including peer code reviews.
- Automation scripting using Shell/Python/Lambda/JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Implementing automated workflows for data ingestion, processing, and distribution.
- Ensuring data quality and consistency across various data sources.
- Conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting of data pipelines and supporting operation teams in the event of production incidents.
- Working collaboratively with the Delivery Lead to produce regular program reporting, ensuring project schedules are accurate and current.
- Identifying and managing potential conflicts or issues within delivery schedules to enable preventative action.

Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated 5 years' experience working with Data & Analytics Platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in managing SAS Grid, SAS Visual Analytics, and Teradata.
- Experience with container-based technologies and their deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Demonstrated experience in integrating DevOps with data and analytics platforms, using tools such as Terraform, Vault, Artifactory, and Gitlab.
- Knowledge of cloud services and data-related services, and experience with big data technologies and ETL processes.
- Experience with integration design patterns, data, and analytics.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agencies preferred.
- Experience in delivering and managing multi-cloud networks, and designing and building cloud-based data and analytic solutions.
- Experience in migrating on-premise applications to the Cloud (AWS/Azure).
- Certifications in SAS, Teradata, DevOps, and Agile.
