.NET Developer - Baseline Clearance Required
📍 Location: Australia-wide | Must be an Australian Citizen

📅 Contract Role

Join a high-impact government program supporting critical systems and templates essential to operations. This is a hands-on role for a versatile and experienced .NET Developer who can contribute to urgent updates and capability uplifts during a period of significant organisational change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within the Legacy CMS & Applications team under the guidance of the Director of Product Management & Customer Experience.

  • Use JIRA and agile methods (Scrum or Kanban) to deliver tasks, changes, and high-quality products with a focus on user experience.

  • Engage with business, tech, and corporate stakeholders to identify root problems and define appropriate technical solutions.

  • Contribute ideas and innovative solutions to challenges ranging from simple to complex, balancing short-, medium-, and long-term perspectives.

  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and risk frameworks in coordination with PMCE, Cyber Security, and Support teams.

Specialist Tasks:

  • Re-develop and maintain .NET or equivalent applications.

  • Maintain Microsoft Word macro and non-macro templates.

  • Enhance web-based systems, reporting tools, and application platforms.

  • Support planning, execution, testing, and documentation of application updates.

Technical Skills Required:

  • .NET stack: C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core

  • Visual Studio, Microsoft Web API/REST Architecture

  • CI/CD, DevOps practices, automated testing

  • SQL Server, JSON

  • Microsoft Word mail merge fields, VBA

Essential Criteria:

  1. Experience using JIRA and agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver quality outcomes and products.
  2. Proven ability to work with various stakeholders to identify root problems and design relevant tech solutions.

  3. Demonstrated innovation and problem-solving across simple to complex challenges.

  4. Experience working with compliance teams to meet reporting, security, and policy requirements.

  5. Background working in fast-paced, customer-focused government environments with competing priorities.

Desirable:

  • Current or previous AGSVA security clearance.

  • Accreditation in Agile or other technology frameworks.

  • Police clearance.

  • Must be located in Australia with full working rights.
