We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to join a Federal Government client on an initial 12-month contract, with two extension options available.
This is a Canberra-based role with hybrid working arrangements, requiring only two days per week in the office.

About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Developer to support the delivery of the client's program and the enhancement of internal tools.
This role is ideal for a developer with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, who can collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and translate complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements and translate business processes into Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
- Configure, customise and optimise D365 CE/CRM and Power Platform components (Power Apps - Canvas & Model-Driven, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Develop custom solutions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, Azure services, and D365 plugins
- Ensure solutions align with architectural standards, data security, and integration needs
- Integrate D365 with internal and external systems (e.g., environmental models, Azure services)
- Participate in Agile sprints, provide technical input, and collaborate with analysts and testers
- Produce documentation and support knowledge transfer to business-as-usual teams
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience configuring and customising Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM) in complex enterprise environments
- Strong proficiency with Power Platform - Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI
- Solid understanding of the D365 security model, data model, and integration architecture
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle in Agile environments
- Ability to interpret business requirements and build scalable, maintainable technical solutions
- Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with government or environmental sector projects, especially in multi-jurisdictional settings
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Azure Logic Apps, and Dataverse
- Knowledge of compliance and data protection requirements, especially around environmental data
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-600, MB-200) highly regarded
- Working Arrangements:
- Hybrid model - only 2 days per week required onsite in Canberra
- Must be available to attend project and team meetings during business hours (remotely or in-person)
