Are you a technically hands-on engineering leader looking to drive high-impact digital transformation across government services? We're seeking an EL1 Engineering Lead to deliver complex cloud-native solutions and guide agile teams in a fast-paced federal environment.

🔧 Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Leading the design and implementation of modern software systems and APIs

• Building containerised applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm

• Developing secure and scalable APIs in Golang and TypeScript (REST and GraphQL)

• Automating infrastructure deployment using Terraform and AWS

• Driving DevOps practices through CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub/GitLab

• Ensuring accessibility (WCAG 2.1), security, and performance best practices

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including BAs, QAs, and business stakeholders

Tech Stack & Skills:

• Proficient in Golang, TypeScript, and React

• Solid experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Expertise in CI/CD, Vault, Artifactory, and secure software development

• Familiar with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)

• Bonus: Experience with React Native, Postgres/MySQL, or mobile development

• Able to guide technical decisions and mentor team members

• Australian Citizenship is essential for this federal contract
