We are seeking a talented Content Designer with experience in technical environments to join a fast-paced government digital transformation program. This is a unique opportunity to craft content that simplifies complex concepts, supports agile delivery, and enhances user experience across a variety of platforms.

About the Role:

As a Content Designer, you will play a key role in developing and delivering engaging online content, including eLearning modules, visual assets, and communication materials. Your work will directly support the department's transition to DevOps and Agile delivery models, helping internal teams and stakeholders understand and adopt new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a clear, audience-focused content strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Translate technical and complex information into accessible, easy-to-understand content.

  • Create and manage digital content for internal platforms, maintaining consistency with brand and style guidelines.

  • Design high-quality visuals using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Produce engaging learning modules, cheat sheets, and animated videos.

  • Test and refine eLearning content based on user feedback.

  • Monitor content performance using appropriate metrics and continuously improve user engagement.

  • Support multiple projects with competing priorities across cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all content outputs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in content design or digital content creation in a technical or government setting.

  • Strong understanding of content management systems and accessibility standards.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and eLearning development tools.

  • Experience creating interactive learning materials, incorporating decision points, case studies, and screen captures.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Desirable:

Familiarity with DevOps, Agile methodologies, or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
