ManpowerGroup is Actively engaged with a State Government department searching for a skilled Communications manager to support a team of Community Engagement Managers in the development and implementation of a range of community and stakeholder engagement tools and techniques. You will also assist with the development and coordination of communications and community engagement activities on new projects.

Key Duties:

  • Support the community engagement managers to report on the interests of community and key
    stakeholders
  • Assist in the creation and evaluation of best practice communication and engagement strategies to effectively engage with a range of audiences
  • Produce a range of appropriate communication tools and materials tailored to different audiences
  • Support the development and implementation of a range of community and stakeholder engagement
    tools and techniques such as community forums and events
  • Manage the agency's customer relationship management system, producing reports, coordination of events and activities, and managing and improving processes, systems and templates

About You:

  • Strong written and communication skills (advantageous)
  • Excellent problem solving skills on complex matters
  • Project management skills
  • Qualifications in communications or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience within
    community engagement

Essential Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to outer suburban and regional locations, and work outside of core business hours in the evening and on weekends, as required
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the department's Aboriginal education policies
