Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer

For our client in Federal Government we are seeking a skilled Broadcom DCS Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to the seamless operation and enhancement of our Broadcom DCS systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Business As Usual (BAU) operations, maintenance, and management of Broadcom DCS.
• Plan, schedule, and implement periodic patches, bug fixes, and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
• Document technical knowledge in the knowledge database, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and update detailed design and as-built documentation.
• Manage server migration from DCS to AppLocker, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless transition.

Mandatory Criteria:

• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in the daily operations and management of Broadcom DCS, covering identity, application security, and control.
• Proven ability to isolate and resolve the root cause of technical support issues.
• Experience in implementing daily health checks and configuring/managing reporting and knowledge transfer to other support staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft AppLocker and PowerShell.

Weighted Criteria:

• Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuration and optimization.
• Deep knowledge of the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy, Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and their implementation within Broadcom DCS.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and executing periodic patches, bug fixes, and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
• Demonstrated experience in upgrading Broadcom DCS from version 6.7.x to 6.9.x.
