Customer Engineer - Installation, Maintenance & Support

📍 Location: Gosford & Sydney



About the Role

As a Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of equipment's- POS-ATMS, ensuring seamless customer operations and satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs for financial, retail, and POS/ATM equipment.
  • Resolve customer issues independently or escalate as needed.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on ATMs, kiosks, desktops, and workstations.
  • Assist with site preparation, including cabling, staging, and testing of equipment.
  • Maintain company assets, including tools, software, vehicles, and documentation.
  • Accurately track and report expenses, calls, and service activities.
  • Work closely with call center staff, territory managers, and control tower teams.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
  • Experience in PC hardware maintenance, routers, networks, and peripherals.
  • Background in electronics & communications engineering (ITE or Polytechnic).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer relationship & communication skills.
  • Mechanical/electrical aptitude with experience in desktops, servers, and networks.
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call work.
