This Federal Department is a one that has a long-term and meaningful impact working in harmony to deliver projects that change the perspective and ultimately improve the lives of Australians. An opportunity has been created due to the ongoing increase in scope of work for an Agile Coach.

As part of this role, you will be responsible to help shift and transform existing work flows to a full-fledged agile practice. You will be the core facilitator in understanding the relationships between various scrum teams, process owners and key stakeholders across the Department.

You will be responsible for:

  • Take the lead in coaching product teams to achieve product roadmaps and continuous improvement in areas such as product and system enhancements, enhancements, and regulatory initiatives.
  • Foster agile awareness by initiating new agile teams and conducting training sessions, encompassing both formal training and informal sessions.
  • Act as a catalyst cultural change by advocating for an agile mindset and ensuring the Department holds best practices.

You will bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated track record working as an Agile Coach driving organisational change and leading teams.
  • Advanced knowledge in Agile methodologies, exemplified by certification in one or more formal frameworks.
  • Exhibit coaching, mentoring, negotiation, and influencing skills appropriate for guiding organizational change.
  • Display exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops.

Due to the nature of this role, Australian Citizenship is essential.
