Program Scheduler - Government Project (APS5 Equivalent)
Location: NSW, QLD, VIC (Hybrid Work Arrangement)
Contract Duration: 12 months + 12-month extension option
Start Date: Friday, 5 September 2025
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline Clearance
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Are you an experienced Program Scheduler ready to contribute to a high-impact government transformation initiative? We're seeking a skilled professional to support a multi-year program delivering new case management capabilities for a federal tribunal.
You'll work directly with the Program Director to develop and manage integrated master schedules, coordinate across multiple project teams, and ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules for large-scale programs.
- Perform resource allocation, critical path analysis, and milestone tracking using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
- Consolidate schedules, identify dependencies, and provide impact analysis in collaboration with multiple project managers.
- Identify schedule risks and support mitigation planning.
- Present schedule information to stakeholders at various levels.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Agile release planning and mapping to broader program schedules is highly desirable.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining integrated master schedules for large-scale programs.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Ability to consolidate schedules and provide impact analysis across multiple projects.
- Strong analytical skills to identify risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Desirable Criteria:
- Understanding of Agile release planning and integration with broader program schedules.
