We're looking for an experienced UX Researcher / Designer who can take full ownership of user testing across a diverse customer base including participants with varied accessibility needs (e.g., blind, Deaf, low‑vision users). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the balance of hands‑on research and high‑quality design execution.

About the role

In this contract, you'll lead end‑to‑end usability testing, gather evidence‑based insights, and translate findings into clear, user‑centred design solutions. You'll work within established squads and collaborate with product, engineering and broader design teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and lead all user testing activities
  • Conduct research with users who have diverse accessibility requirements
  • Analyse findings and present clear insights to stakeholders
  • Produce thoughtful, polished UX designs based on evidence
  • Work collaboratively in large, cross‑functional squads
  • Bring structure, critical thinking and strong communication to the design process

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years' experience in UX Research / Design
  • Experience working across varied organisations and design approaches
  • Formal design training (degree or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to separate opinion from insight
  • Practical experience running real usability testing (not focus groups)
  • Ability to turn research into clean, high‑quality design outputs

Why you'll love this role

  • High‑impact work with real user diversity
  • Join a mature design environment with established squads
  • Strong day rate + opportunity to influence meaningful product decisions

If you're a research‑driven designer who thrives on evidence‑based decision making, we'd love to hear from you.
