ABOUT THE ROLE

The Test Lead will report on a day-to-day basis to the Project Manager and will work collaboratively with members of the Business Analyst team, the End User Computing (EUC) Technical Team and the wider Windows 10 project team. Engagement with business stakeholders is paramount to support the upgrade of Windows 7 end-users to Windows 10.

As a Test Lead you will have be responsible for the below mentioned:

• Review the application discovery for each business unit and work with the Business Analyst team to agree testing requirements.
• Coordinate the sourcing and installation of applications on test machines.
• Prepare Test Plans and Test Completion Reports for each business unit. Record test evidence from business users. Give regular test status updates to business testers and key stakeholders.
• Liaise with end-users to provide instructions and assistance on performing UAT, where required.
• Manage the test team to be able to assist in, or to take ownership of, the UAT process either on an ad-hoc or ongoing basis.

To be successful for the role, you will have experience with the below mentioned:

• Experience Test Lead with experience in end to end testing of systems underdevelopment and ongoing maintenance
• Experience in analysing detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to develop testing strategies
• Strong experience in writing Test Reports to describe testing outcomes and assist developers in the removal of defects.
• Experience in maintain the ICT quality management policies and processes
