Role purpose:

We are looking for a capability-driven and motivated Test Analyst with deep experience in testing domains, who will be an asset to the business and be a part of the Testing Community

Be able to support strategic projects to improve customer experience by expanding and enhancing our digital servicing propositions across all channels.

To be successful in this role as a Test Analyst, you should have a track record of positive results in testing capabilities, display excellent interpersonal skills to build quality relationships within the team and with internal stakeholders, be goal-driven, and able to perform efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

Experience with Manual testing, banking experience and retail banking is mandatory!

  • Working in an Agile scrum team to deliver customer experience projects.
  • Working closely with the Business Analyst, Product Owner and stakeholders to understand business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Build effective working relationships with analysis and design teams.
  • Defining/executing test strategy, validation of applications and accurately defining timeframes for completion
  • Follow all processes in place for verification testing across multiple environments
  • Create test cases in Jira using a standardized test case template.
  • Execute test cases within test cycle in Jira
  • Raise defects in Jira
  • Publish test execution reports.
  • Identify any gaps in testing by reviewing post implementation issues - test and regression scripts need to be reviewed and updated to address the gaps
  • Employing a Human Centered Design & Design-led thinking mindset to identifying and defining issues or problems
  • Participating actively and constructively in brainstorming / impact analysis meetings where testing problems are discussed and/or resolved
  • Bringing structure and order to undefined problems and/or large-scale problems, making them easier to address and solve
  • Use systemic thinking and creativity in devising solution options
  • Identifying risks and opportunities in day-to-day operations, systems and change initiatives, and act upon them accordingly
  • Driving tooling (Jira) requirements for test cases, raising and managing defects
