This renowned organisation is a market leader in their field, and they are seeking the services of a Technical Writer to join their friendly team on a permanent basis, who will be responsible for developing user facing documentation, used to support their large customer base in their learning and maximizing the value they get from their products.

Working closely with agile delivery teams, customers, and user experience team members, your role will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Talk to Customers and Customer advocates, such as Training, Sales and User Experience staff, to understand Customer learning needs, including the analysis of the customer feedback obtained, looking for product improvement opportunities

• Content Creation: including the authoring of user documentation, such as online help and software usage guides, Produce videos, analysis of content within the software, such as error and message strings

• Develop and encourage adherence to documentation standards, including promotion of quality and consistency in user documentation and on-line materials

• Communicating documentation plans to the project teams and stakeholders, including the contribution to documentation plans for major product releases

• Agile delivery, and responsible for values, continuous improvement, and creation of stories

As such, you will demonstrate skills and experience in the following:

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a similar product development Agile environment

• Ability to work with external service providers and facilitate scheduled, requirements, costs and deliverables

• Technically Savvy in MS Office, and with Help Authoring Tools such as Madcap Flareor Adobe RoboHelp is a MUST

• Skills in Adobe Photoshop, SnagIT, Adobe InDesign or similar graphic and layout tools is desired

• Strong experience developing online instructional materials, including training videos

• Outstanding communication and organisational skills
