Our client is a reputable organisation who specialise in providing cutting edge security and identity solutions. They are seeking a proven Software Integration Engineer to join their fast-growing team on a permanent basis.

Opportunity Overview

This Canberra based position will see you work on an array of exciting projects, particularly within the Federal Government space. Your main focus will be to implement customer specific requirements by configuring/customising biometric applications/systems and developing customer specific software components.

To be successful for this opportunity, the below experience is required:

• Software integration, customization, design and/or development.
• Ability to set up and administer Linux servers.
• Understanding of networking and network protocols (HTTP, SSL etc.).
• Source control and issue tracking tools (e.g. SVN, JIRA).
• Sound knowledge of scripting languages (shell, JavaScript etc.) and databases (SQL, Oracle)

Please note, due to the nature of the work, minimum Baseline Security Clearance is essential.
