The Service Desk Analyst provides support to end users across all systems and applications, including managing servers, networking, desktops and ensuring business continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve end-user issues promptly, providing regular status updates on requests.
- Support the resolution of service disruptions
- Assist with the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of system infrastructure to ensure security, stability and performance.
- Implement minor system changes in compliance with agreed standards, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Take full ownership of all incident records, ensuring they are tracked and resolved through to completion.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.
Required skills & experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting end users with desktop and system-related issues in a fast-paced service desk environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
- Experience with system installations, configurations, and ongoing maintenance.
- Proficient in diagnosis and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network issues.
- Capable of producing and maintaining clear, accurate system documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
