Working with Non for profit oranisation, work within a dynamic group of mental health professionals, business analysts and project managers in the successful implementation of the projects within the agreed scope, timeframe and budget. The Service Design Specialist will be able to demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and the maintenance of a collaborative and supportive work environment, while supporting various objectives and project deadlines

  • Responsibilities for this versatile role will include applying human-centred and service design thinking in the delivery of new online service pathways. The role will be hands on in leading and facilitating the planning and delivery of design research, insight synthesis, ideation, prototyping and end to end project delivery.
  • This role is located within the Digital and Technology Services. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders including various digital agencies, software providers, vendors and support services.
  • Lead/co-lead the creation of prototypes (low-to-high fidelity) to generate user feedback and drive ideation towards future state experiences. Consolidate and synthesise the key outputs and findings from user research, data analysis and discovery and translate into clear insights/recommendations to help inform future state experience design

Experince:

  • Experience in Design Thinking and Human Centred Design and the use of these skills to lead workshops, develop user stories, conduct user research, cultivate insights and oversee the design of user experiences
  • Experience in problem solving, journey mapping, ideation and prototyping
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal communication and workshop/training facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall Project Management and Software Development Methodologies
  • Knowledge of Usability and Accessibility
