This is a high‑impact architectural role operating at the intersection of strategy, modern engineering practices, and complex stakeholder environments.

The Opportunity

You'll act as the principal architect across multiple modernisation programs, guiding architectural direction, evaluating technology options, shaping solutions, and influencing senior stakeholders. The work spans large, regulated environments involving modern platform uplift, integration transformation, and contemporary architecture practices across both legacy and modern ecosystems.

This is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, multi‑domain, enterprise environments and is comfortable advising at senior levels while still driving tangible architectural outcomes.

What You'll Lead

  • End‑to‑end architecture design across several transformation streams
  • Technology evaluation & selection, with strong justification and advisory capability
  • Stakeholder engagement across business, security, infrastructure, and integration teams
  • Vendor engagement, negotiation, and architecture governance
  • Defining architecture patterns, standards, and decision frameworks
  • Guiding teams through modernisation, integration uplift, and solution design
  • Translating complex technical landscapes into clear, actionable direction for leadership

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of architecture experience in complex, regulated, or large‑scale enterprise environments
  • Experience in integration architecture, modern services, APIs, cloud‑aligned design, and traditional patterns
  • Background in consulting or advisory roles where influence and communication are critical
  • Strong ability to engage and communicate with senior business and technology leaders
  • Experience in sectors such as utilities, telco, banking, financial services, or other large enterprises
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on architectural solutioning
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills
