Exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior SAP Developer with experience in ECC6 on premise to join and make a significant impact in a high profile role with our client. This opportunity is a 12-month contract with possibility of extension.

The successful Senior SAP Developer will have demonstrated the following skills and experience in a past role.

  • Develop and enhance functionalities using custom ABAP code, including coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Convert business requirements into technical designs and oversee programming deliverables.
  • Create reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Analyse and fix issues in custom or standard SAP programs and perform performance tuning.
  • Support SAP development tools, handle technical updates, manage processes, and resolve support queries, while providing technical guidance on security roles and future cloud migration planning.

Essential to this role you will have

  • Over 5 years' experience in development and implementation of SAP (ECC6.0 or Higher)
  • You will act as a SAP ECC6 SME and mentor others whilst having the ability working self-directed or independently.
  • You will have experience with troubleshooting performance issues previously with SAP ECC6.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently with business areas to gather and analyse requirements
  • Previous experience providing testing use case scenarios and assist other users with their testing of new builds.
  • Demonstrated the ability to resolve time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining strong internal and external customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated the ability to provide sound advice to business areas on best practices and solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP financial modules.
  • Demonstrated the ability to contribute to the development of new processes and effectively identify, analyse, and resolve highly complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work as a team player in a small team environment.
