A leading Government client based in Western Sydney is looking for an SAP BW Developer. Initial 6 months contract + Potential Extension. APPLY NOW!!

About the Role:

It is a technology transformation program to replace several applications with SAP S4 HANA and moving data landscape from on-premise to Azure Cloud.

The SAP BW Developer will join the BI Analytics & ML team and be dedicated to the program with the primary objective of participating in vendor driven solution articulation, design and development phases ensuring compliance with set standards, principles, methods & process as well as contribute to improve on these.

Key Accountabilities:

• Support self service reporting with good communication skills, customer service skills and strong knowledge of the data landscape.
• Provide SAP Data, Data Models and Analytics expertise in the articulation, design and development of new solutions as well as the improvements to existing solutions.
• Work in a team of Professional Services consultants, architects and project managers who implement Analytics solutions.
• Be involved, lead or participate in business and technical sessions to document or review program.
• Gain comprehensive understanding of the technology environment and the business processes to consult on design and delivery to comply with requirements, standards, architecture, security policy amongst others.

To be successful for the role, one must have extensive experience in:

• Leading BI and data Warehousing along with the experience with SAP and Non-SAP applications. (Minimum 10 years).
• SAP BI Suite, SAP BW and SAP HANA, its architecture and deployment strategies.
• Successfully implementing multiple Analytics projects (full life cycle) in challenging environments.
• Oracle data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
• Azure, Databrick.
• Microsoft PowerBI, SAP Analytic Cloud (SAC), AFO and other visualisation tools would be beneficial.
• EDW, oracle datawarehouse, BoDs.
• SAP operational reporting and capacity planning.
• SAP (S4/HANA) applications Finance, SCM, EPPM, EAM, ISU, CRM.
• Subject Matter Expert to facilitate deep analysis and be a bridge between technical resources, implementation partner and the business.
