Leading Government Client based in Burwood - Sydney is looking for a Senior Project Manager- Cyber Security on a 12 months contract + possible extension! APPLY NOW!

About the Role;

The primary purpose of the role is to manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple, large, strategic IT projects, encompassing both applications and infrastructure projects requiring a high level of project direction and integration.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Live the NSW Public Sector and organisational values to achieve outstanding outcomes for the organisation and customers
  • Manage multiple, large, complex IT projects of critical strategic importance to the Sydney Metro business, adhering to the agreed Project Management Methodology
  • Develop and control project schedules and planning activities to ensure modules and programs are completed according to established project milestones and meet business requirements
  • Establish, manage, analyse and report on project budgets, issues, risks and schedules and recommend appropriate action to resolve any variances and to deliver project to meet base-lined time, budget and scope commitments
  • Complete and evaluate post project reviews to ensure adherence to IT change control procedures are adhered to
  • Mentor Sydney Metro IT employees on relevant project management methodologies to ensure a consistent, professional approach to all Sydney Metro IT projects.

To be successful for the role;

  • Essential 8 implementation
  • Have experience working in projects $5 Mil or more.
  • Stakeholder management, vendor
  • PAM & IAM
  • Well versed with Cyber Security Policy (CSP)
  • Extensive project management experience of multiple, complex IT projects including controlling the planning and implementation of large IT projects and demonstrated ability to establish and adhere to strict project timeframes.
  • Proven experience in vendor evaluation and management.
  • Experience in full end to end solution delivery, including business change
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related area or relevant experience
