Primary purpose of the role:

Accountable for the provision of expertise and analysis on complex, high-risk products and services to identify and mitigate risks, and inform decision making the role supports the delivery of approved products to meet operational and strategic transformation objectives and optimise customer service outcomes and user experience.

Key challenges:

  • Managing stakeholder expectations given their varying expectations, viewpoints, interests and sensitivity of products/projects

  • Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, given competing product and project delivery priorities and tight timeframe within agreed timelines

Key accountabilities

  • Provide high level analysis, review and advice, to support the planning and management of approved Projects and products using Agile and Lean practices and frameworks to ensure delivery of high-quality products, services and user experience.

  • Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, and evaluation of security related aspects of product and project delivery to identify and mitigate risks and support decision making

  • Collaborate with the team and key stakeholders to the delivery of key milestones and product outcomes within scope, on time, on budget and to expected standards

  • Develop and manage stakeholder relationships through strong and effective communications, managing expectations, mediation and issues management and negotiation to ensure delivery of products and the achievement of outcomes and benefits, engaging with stakeholders at all levels

  • Complete retrospective reviews on deliverables to ensure metrics are valid and updated to assist forecasting and resource/capacity allocation to ensure that security resources are accurately funded.

  • Report and escalate issues such as variances and manage delivery by exception to ensure issues are understood and actions to resolve identified .

To be suitable for the role:

  • Minimum 5+ years of years in IT Infrastructure and Project Management.

  • Knowledge in AWS and Cybersecurity would be an advantage.
