This large department plays a critical role in enhancing the lives of Queenslanders and currently have the need for 2 Senior .Net Developers to provide services associated with all phases of the application development lifecycle, including migration, Support & Maintenance and enhancements to numerous initiatives / applications within Corporate Applications team.
You will also be required to work as directed and as required on similar projects and functions as they are scheduled or emerge throughout the term of the engagement. Alongside members of the team, you are expected to perform to the highest quality standard and operate with a high level of integrity within this large professional support team with a focus on delivering departmental client requirements and service excellence. A range of technologies are supported by the group, however, there is a focus on Microsoft technologies to assist in reducing the overall complexity of the environment. You will provide resources with demonstrated experience in delivering Business Information Systems and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) over the Software Development Life Cycle, deep understanding and experience in ITIL framework, including their architecture, design, development and delivery.
To be successful in this role you will provide resources with appropriate levels of mainly .NET skills and knowledge for application maintenance and development services. The supplied resources will be required to meet the following minimum skill set criteria:
Minimum five years demonstrated experience in Microsoft ASP.NET software development undertaking: (SFIA, Level 5 - PROG)
Backend Software development (ASP.Net, C#, MVC)
Microsoft SQL Server 2012-2019, SQL Azure
Programming in SQL
Knowledge of Windows Server and IIS
Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, Octopus
In depth knowledge of Azure PaaS
PowerShell experience writing automation scripts
Writing unit and integration test scripts
Microsoft Visual Studio & GIT
.Net Core and Angular desirable
