PROJECT OVERVIEW

The client has embarked on its Cloud journey, initially implementing several SaaS (Software as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) offerings such as Microsoft O365, Service Now and Salesforce. The project in flight will be looking to design and build Microsoft Azure cloud service foundations that will enable Client to plug in any number of cloud providers (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) over time. This project will focus initially on delivering cloud capability through Azure Infrastructure as a service, with a view to support the migration of Development and Test workloads where appropriate. The project will provide the foundation to support a number of large policing programs currently inflight.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Working on the IPOS Foundations (Cloud) Project, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analysis, requirements gathering, selection, development, and delivery of integrated solutions for large and complex programs and Projects within the client. The position works with both internal and external delivery partners within the Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI). This position directly reports to the Project Manager.

To be successful for the role, you will have experience with the below mentioned:

• Minimum of 5 years continuous experience of working as a technical business analyst in agile environment.
• Strong experience using JIRA
• Candidate must have strong agile methodology experience, from creating Epics to User Stories
• Understanding and/or experience with:

- Azure Cloud

- Azure Stack Hub

- Azure CI/CD Pipeline

- Global Load Balancing technologies

- Virtual and Physical Firewalls

- Splunk

- Service Now

- Mulesoft Integration
