The purpose of the role:

The purpose of this role is to be accountable for the vulnerability management activities across my client's Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) landscapes.

The role is responsible for overseeing the effective operation of security controls in place to manage vulnerabilities and to reduce their within an acceptable threshold. Operating across a varied technology landscape, the position must use a risk-based approach to prioritise the implementation of identified mitigations and consider the impacts to users and service delivery.

The role works closely with Business and Technology Stakeholders to facilitate and align the operational responsibilities for implementing mitigations; such mitigations include patch management, update management, software version currency, configuration changes, and end-user communications.

Key Accountabilities:

Accountable for the operation and governance of the security controls

Establish and maintain the Vulnerability Management Policy

Prepare Technical vulnerability reports

Work with the business owners to access requirements and risks

Lead assurance activities to validate the design and operation of vulnerability management controls.

The main skills for this role:

-Demonstrated experience managing security vulnerabilities

-Azure Security Stack

-Hold industry qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO27001 or equivalent.

-3+ years of experience minimum

-SCADA desirable
