Are you an experienced SAS Solutions Engineer ready to design and deliver cutting-edge data solutions in a complex credit risk and banking environment? We're seeking a talented professional to join the SRDE Solution Design Team, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming business requirements into high-impact technical solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and conduct impact assessments and effort estimations.
  • Design, document, and govern technical solutions across complex data ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, service owners, and tech leads to prioritize and deliver innovative data products.
  • Engineer cross-functional solutions across multiple technologies including SAS, Hadoop, Azure, Teradata, and various BI tools.
  • Guide Agile teams in delivering full-stack solutions, leveraging DevOps practices.


What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale Credit Risk and/or Banking environments.
  • 10+ years of delivering business and technology solutions, especially in complex data engineering projects.
  • Strong expertise (5+ years) in advanced SQL and SAS technologies (Base SAS, SAS/Macro, SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Management Console).
  • Proficiency with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Python, Java, Spring Boot, Git, Scala, Synapse, and more.
  • Hands-on experience in data warehousing, integration (Informatica, Sterling), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos/TM1).
  • Solution design experience for cloud platforms (ideally Azure and serverless architecture).
  • Strong skills in data analysis, modelling, and Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket).
