Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead for Salesforce technical delivery, providing guidance and oversight to developers and administrators.
  • Design and review technical solutions across Salesforce clouds (PSS, Sales, Service, Experience) and custom applications.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders across projects to translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Lead code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure quality across all deliverables.
  • Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and structured release management for Salesforce components.
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with government security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development and solution design, including Apex, Omnistudio, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture, and sharing rules.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage delivery in complex environments.
  • Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential criteria

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development and solution design, including Apex, Omnistudio, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture, and sharing rules.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage delivery in complex environments.
  • Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience working within a Platform Engineering or enterprise technology team.
  • Familiarity with government digital service standards and compliance frameworks.
