Through our ongoing partnership with our client, Experis Australia is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support a 12‑month engagement based in Canberra. This role sits within a mature enterprise Salesforce environment and will focus on enhancing existing capability, integrating platforms, and supporting roadmap delivery aligned to our clients request. An active Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory and must be held at the time of submission.
What You'll Be Doing
Salesforce Development & Platform Enhancement
- Design and deliver custom Salesforce solutions across a complex enterprise environment.
- Configure and optimise Salesforce declarative tools including Flows, Process Builder and validation rules.
- Build and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts and Lightning pages.
- Review and leverage AppExchange solutions where appropriate.
Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Address enhancement items and backlog work from earlier delivery phases.
- Develop new functionality aligned with platform best practice and internal standards.
- Provide technical guidance to support ongoing optimisation of Salesforce usage.
Integration & Data
- Develop and support integrations with internal and external systems using APIs and integration patterns.
- Support data migration activities and assist with resolving data quality issues.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with internal IT and digital teams to support solution design and governance.
- Participate in workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders to shape outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Testing, Release & Compliance
- Conduct unit testing and support UAT activities.
- Use version control and deployment tools to manage releases into production.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline practices where already in place.
- Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce security models and government accessibility standards.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands‑on experience as a Salesforce Developer across:
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Salesforce Tableau and Salesforce Maps
- Proven experience with Salesforce declarative tools and custom development.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security model and data architecture.
- Demonstrated experience with system integrations, APIs and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with AppExchange solutions.
- Comfortable using version control and Salesforce deployment tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communicator, able to align multiple stakeholders.
Active Baseline Security Clearance (essential).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Veeart.
- Salesforce Developer certification.
- Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Salesforce.
- Exposure to Australian Government accessibility and user‑centred design standards.
