Job Details:

• At least 3 + yeas Project Management experience with a background in Reporting and Analytics
• Establish a modern, flexible cloud based data platform that provides a single
• source of data and capability for analytics across the organisation
• Self-service analytics models
• Timely availability of data
• Trusted and governed data sources
• Consistent business logic
• Scalable with latest technologies
• Repeatable automated patterns to add data and create visualisations
• Data streaming support to enable real time analysis
• "Big data" capability to provide support for AI/ML
• Foundation for enterprise-wide data

You will have experience in the following

• Proven delivery of complex cloud data solutions, including data lakes, data ingestion pipelines and consumption of data in a data product model
• Reporting and Analytics / Data Warehousing / Big Data projects
• Managing a wide / complex set of stakeholders.
• Managing projects with a wide organisational impact.
• Working in a large organisation (Government and Utilities an advantage)
• Delivering in matrix management environment
• Hybrid environments with on-premis and cloud components
• Delivering application solutions with competing projects and priorities running in parallel
• Complex technical environments

General project/program management skills required include:

• Business case preparation
• Manage financials - budgets and forecasting
• Integration and scope management - project planning, scope definition, work breakdown structures, and change control.
• Delivery to scope, schedule, quality and budget
• Manage several streams of work in parallel
• Manage communications and stakeholder relationships
• Manage issues, risks, inter-dependencies, variations
• Report into, advise, and take direction from project/program board
• Ensure roles & responsibilities are clearly understood across the delivery team & stakeholders
• Prince 2 project methodology
• Managing Successful Programs methodology
• Ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently
• Managing complex procurement processes for software and services
• Resource, stakeholder, & vendor management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders

Soft Skills:

• Driven, self-starter who takes ownership, leads project team to success, knows how to make things happen, and is not afraid to challenge where necessary
• ability to influence and build relationships at different levels
• Understands the importance of a large organisations project governance needs and can work through these while ensuring project delivers
• Can navigate projects through a challenging political stakeholder environment
• Ability to understand and engage with the business
• Good to listening, negotiation and motivation skills
• Pragmatic and flexible approach, able to think outside the box in problem solving
