Are you an experienced Product Manager with a deep understanding of Commonwealth procurement and software solutions? We are seeking two Product Managers to support a critical government program, assisting with the development, procurement, and implementation of a key system.

About the Role

As a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with User Researchers and the delivery team to ensure the successful procurement and implementation of a major product or service. Your role will focus on prioritising product delivery to best meet user needs, as well as providing commercial, pricing, and procurement expertise throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of pricing models for procurement and sustainment costs.
• Provide expert guidance on service level agreements (SLA) and commercial considerations.
• Evaluate tender responses, including pricing, financial viability, and compliance.
• Support negotiation strategies and assist in contract negotiations.
• Prepare the final contract including pricing and SLA schedules.
• Provide procurement advice throughout all phases of the project.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement, project reporting, and knowledge transfer.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Detailed knowledge of Commonwealth procurement processes
• Experience procuring software solutions and services
• Strong analytical skills in pricing models and financial evaluation
• Ability to support complex negotiations and contract finalisation
• Proven capability in stakeholder management and reporting
