Skill Requirements/Qualifications

• To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: Professional experience
• A deep understanding of human-centric design principles
• Extensive experience in producing high fidelity production-ready UI assets for mobile and web apps
• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining user flows to compliment UI assets
• Experience setting up and managing UI design systems including typography, layouts, component libraries, symbols, patterns, style guides etc.
• Experience in interaction design and choosing the right patterns to suit the experience needs of the user
• Able to rapidly generate a range ideas and concepts using wire frames and low fidelity prototypes before moving to high fidelity
• Expert level mastery of Figma
• Conversant with the latest trends in UI and interaction design and able to share subject matter expertise with other members of the team
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates experience in UI and interaction design

• A problem-solving mindset with a passion for digital and the possibilities it brings for clients
• A great team player with experience working with agile teams - able to collaborate closely with service designers, developers, scrum masters and product managers
• Able to communicate honestly and openly, and focused on exceeding client expectations
• Able to work well independently with clients, as a project lead, or as an individual team member
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work under high pressure and tight time frames
• Open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon design

Bonus

• Able to conduct and validate concepts and designs via user research
• Copywriting experience
• Experience with visual branding, logo design
• Able to bring UI designs to life using tools like Framer
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript
