Our client is looking for a seasoned PMO Lead for governance initiatives across a complex IT portfolio. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in shaping governance frameworks, driving portfolio reporting, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
This is a daily rate contract, based inner Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee governance for all initiatives and projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
- Drive benefits identification, realisation, and ongoing tracking for portfolio investments.
- Facilitate forums and activities that support portfolio planning and investment documentation.
- Establish policies and processes that meet compliance and organisational standards.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with PMOs and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Manage portfolio budgets and deliver accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Prepare and present detailed governance reports to senior leadership.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience leading governance and change functions within a complex IT environment.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
- In-depth knowledge of project governance, portfolio management, and IT frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
